CS:GO: I worked as a Architect/Environment Designer and was tasked with developing the bombsite fiction, settings, layouts and building geometry – working closely with the art leads and level designers – for a variety of unique maps. I designed and authored building geometry complete with interiors in SketchUp and via a export plugin exported directly to Hammer as ‘brush’ geometry. I also modeled props that I UV’d and textured in Modo. I art passed each map for using appropriate materials and textures and placed props to support the fiction and compose dynamic, realistic environments. I participated in extensive playtesting and bug reporting/fixing of maps to iterate on flow, balance and spacing of building geometry and props to create fun maps and gameplay.
